Glowing 1950s colour slides from your iPhone
PRO828 '59 · 828 roll-film camera · 1959 · Photo
Grandma’s slide carousel, the family vacation in 1959, chrome diners and pastel cars. 828 ’59 makes photos that look like they were projected on a living-room screen sixty-plus years ago.
What it looks like
Rich, glowing colour that feels lit from behind, with dense blacks, soft highlights and a gentle softness from a simple old lens. It’s mid-century Americana in a single frame.
What you can shoot
Photos. Each one comes out like a mounted colour slide from the late ’50s.
Why people love it
Mid-century style never left: interiors, fashion, cars and travel all look incredible in this palette. It gives any photo instant history.
Tips
Bright days, bold colours and posed shots. Think postcards and vacation albums.
