Privacy Policy
Last updated October 5, 2026
Atticam is a camera app for iPhone with an optional community called Atticam Online. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: support@atticamapp.com.
Your photos and videos
Everything you shoot with Atticam is processed on your iPhone and saved to your Photos library and to the app's folder on your phone. We never see it. A photo only leaves your phone if you choose to share it to Atticam Online (☆ SHARE), and you can take it down at any time.
Atticam Online (only if you sign up)
- Public: your screen name, the date you joined, your away message, profile and banner pictures, theme, Top 8, buddies, the photos you make public and their captions, comments you leave, your page's view count, and “Online Now” / “Last Login” (you can hide those two).
- Private (only you can see it): your first and last name, email address and phone number. We use them to sign you in and to help you recover your account. We don't show them to other members and we don't sell them.
- Alerts: if you turn on notifications, we store a device token so we can tell you about comments, buddies and Top 8 picks.
- Safety: if you report or block someone, we keep that record so we can act on it.
Usage statistics
To learn which cameras people enjoy and how the app is used, the app records anonymous usage: how long it's open, which cameras are picked, and how many photos and videos are taken with each. We use Google Analytics for Firebase for this, which estimates your general area (city/region) from your internet connection. We don't use GPS, we don't collect the advertising identifier, we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we don't use this data for advertising.
Purchases
Atticam Pro is bought through Apple. Apple handles payment; we only learn whether Pro is active on your device.
Who processes the data
We use trusted service providers to run Atticam Online, the statistics and this website: Google (Firebase) and Vercel. They process data only to provide those services to us, under their own security and privacy terms.
Deleting your data
On your Atticam Online page, tap Delete my account. That removes your page, screen name, private details, buddies and every photo you made public. Comments you left on other people's photos may remain, shown under your old screen name, unless you delete them first or ask us. You can also email us to delete your data.
Children
Atticam Online is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has signed up, contact us and we'll remove the account.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
